My School Routine

1. Morning Assembly:

Command (stand at ease-attention; thrice)

Prayer(6 different prayers for 6 days; 3-english and 3-hindi)

National Anthem

Oath

Raising slogans

Idioms and phrases revision (3 idioms a week)

Comprehension of DBW (daily blackboard work)

Checking nails and uniforms

2. Class-work apart from teaching:

Start class with conversation with kids like what they ate last night or in the morning and make sure you tell them english meaning for each edible they had (this will diminish their hesitation and boost their confidence for english speaking at the same time enrich their vocabulary)

Colorful representation of poems with drawing and hindi pronunciation of each word on blackboard will make them more comfortable in english language.

While teaching chapters in english make sure we write meaning of each and every word( like is, am, are, he, she, this etc) that comes our way on the blackboard, as it helps students in phrasing small sentences and grasping the meaning of each line.

Daily revision is a must to do thing when it comes for language learning, so make sure what we taught our student the day before stays in their mind by revising them in the class.

A separate notebook for english words of our surroundings like animal names, birds name, spices name, flowers name, trees names, our national emblems, state and its capitals must be made so that students dont have to struggle and waste time in searching words whenever they are asked to or they feel the need of.

Conducting weekly English Antakchari by evenly dividing the students of class 3, 4, 5 .

Inculcating the habit of newspaper reading twice or thrice a week in class 4 and 5 students by selecting 10-12 line article from any newspaper will boost their confidence.

3. Group Study:

Gather children from all the classes for half an hour before leaving for home and make them revise tables and counting numbers.
