Strategy : Preparing to study

As  we all are aware that the concept of English medium government school is very new to the rural children so it's necessary to be well known about the goals and our future prospectives, so that we can easily achieve the desired outcomes with little efforts ...

Now the question raises "how the things will work ??

Few techniques here given below :

• Talking to each other about how they teach and the results they get. 

• Learning from each other and following each other's work. 

• Designing lessons, assessments or units together. 

• Sharing critique lessons, assessments or units with each other. 

• Sharing articles and other professional resources, read and discuss books. 

• Working together to examine student work samples and assessments in order to better understand student strengths and weaknesses and improve instruction and other aspects of learning. 

• Providing moral support and encouragement to each other in trying new ideas.

Above all we have to work on creating favourable environment for kids at school and on providing proper  exposure to them via activities.

We must keep in mind that earlier we were teaching English as a subject but now we have to take it as a medium of instruction too as well as a language . So, joyful learning should be promoted at the same time. As the English language unknown to students seems boring they don't want to be involved with that .

While working in this direction I felt Role play is an interesting way of teaching.

They expressed themselves as a fruit and spoke out 3 to 5 lines about them.
