(जैसा मैंने सीखा-समझा और जो मुझे appealing लगा)
1. Before teaching 'establishment of repo' (teacher-student chemistry) is must.
2. Pre-reading activities :
(A) how to hold the book
(B) how to open the book
(C) how to turn the pages
(D) how to read (left to right)
3. Use clapping to
(A) break the sentence into words
(B) break the word into syllables
4. Syllable is a unit of pronunciation containing a single vowel sound.
5. Word-family chart (same sound - same colour)
6. Use rhyming sentences such as :
(A) cat saw rat.
(B) cat on mat.
7. Logographic reading : reading the word as a picture not letter-by-letter.
8. Guided reading :
** I do, you watch
** you do, I do
** together we do
9. Before holding pencil :
(A) writing on soil by stick
(B) drawing by colours
(C) writing on green wall by chalk
10. Use 4 lines on black-board to teach proper use of english note-book.
11. Steps of writing:
(A) scribbling (चीता-पोती)
(B) drawing
(C) making letter-like forms (तिरछी lines, अर्धगोलाकार, गोलाकार, त्रिभुज, ......)
(D) letters
(E) invented spellings (imaginary) (e.g. lat, dan)
(F) conventional spellings (3-letter words upto 2nd grade)
(G) creative writing

साथियों के बीच से निकली कुछ विचारणीय बातें
1. विद्यालय नहीं, बगीचा
2. listening very important (अभिमन्यु ने सुनकर ही चक्रव्यूह तोड़ा)
3. किताबों में सिर्फ खौफ। उससे ज्यादा तो हमारे अन्दर है।
4. तरीका : पहले कुछ दिन पढ़ाया ही नहीं, फिर थोड़ा पढ़ाया, फिर खूब पढ़ाया।
5. मिट्टी (शिक्षक, शिक्षण) कितनी भी बढ़िया हो, पौधा (बच्चा) धीरे-धीरे ही बढ़ेगा, अतः धैर्य रखें।
6. शब्दों के बीच spacing सिखाने के लिए 'one-finger gap'
7. alphabet बच्चों के नाम पर (a for asha, भ से भारती...)
8. नाम का पहला अक्षर बच्चे पर tag कर देना
9. joke सुनाकर बच्चों से समरसता, एकाग्रता
10. उपस्थिति देते समय बच्चा yes sir की बजाय फल/सब्जी/.... के नाम लेगा।
11. PRE इतना हो कि बच्चा जहाँ भी नज़र घुमाये कुछ देखे, कुछ सीखे।
12. अख़बार से चित्र काटकर notice-board या गत्ता-शीट पर चिपकाना।
13. अक्षर-विशेष को किताब में ढूंढ़कर रेखांकित करो (स्पर्धा कराना)
14. सिखाया हुआ शब्द हर बच्चे से बुलवाना।
15. alphabet-videos नियमित रूप से दिखाना।

17. 'बुद्धू वाली कहानी' का प्रेरक मर्म
18. 'rain-rain go away' song with action (involving everyone)
